VSSS SCEINCE MATH APTITUDE TEST (SMAT) – For Grade III & above students only
Young minds are curious, creative, innovative & full of ideas, which makes science an ideal subject for them to learn. Participation in quality science instruction from the elementary level helps students develop problem-solving skills and foster favorable attitudes towards science. The central role of VSSS is to unlock the creativity and inquisitive capacity of our students.
VSS SMAT is a part of our selection process, that is designed to test the Student aptitude in Science, Maths and gauge their suitability for the VSSS Science program.
Why take SMAT?
Limited seats per class and a high number of applications impede us to choose between many proficient students. SMAT gives us an extra piece of information about every student who has applied. However, there is no specific mark that will guarantee your admission, your score will be considered alongside the scores of other students who take the test and will be looked at in conjunction with the student's previous grade results.
What is the format of the Science Math Aptitude test (SMAT)?
SMAT is a 1 hour Online Multiple choice question (MCQ) test, for Grade III & above students.
